Live Free or Drown

I was thinking about floods over the
course of the week and I was reminded
of the flood that God used in Genesis
to cleanse the earth of sin. Do u
need a flood to sweep through u?


Many times in life we all wonder if things can get much worse. We often wonder if our hearts can take much more damage. I think about all this and I realize how much people let others walk on them. One thing about life is that there is always a way out of a bad situation. One thing about God is that He always forgives and gives second- third- fourth- chances. That is amazing how the Creator of the universe can just forgive you even before you even ask for it. Asking is just acknowledgement of your transgressions agains Him. God is an amazing Creator.

BACK TO THE FLOOD:

We could all use a flood to sweep through our lives and cleanse us of the shame we incur in the backs of our minds during the week. Imagine if every single day that a sweep of Gods love could sweep through your entire body before you even make it to your knees and pray to him. A FLOOD of Love is exactly what it would be like. The one supernatural flooding of the Spirit of God that could instantly drop you to your knees. His love is unconditional and He longs to flood your soul.

See, the Lord has one who is powerful and strong. Like a hailstorm and a destructive wind, like a driving rain and a flooding downpour, he will throw it forcefully to the ground.
-ISAIAH 28:2

God will throw your sin into the ground and make it as if it never existed in the first place. He will continue holding His arms wide open to accept your love and to return it as well.

Think about it. . .what other being could there possibly be that would give ultimate forgiveness and healing. . .THAT'S RIGHT. . .NONE. EXCEPT GOD.

Just a little something to fall back on.

worship. . .big word

WOR SHIP. . .i don't know where the word came from or the derivative. The word itself centers around one meaning and that is reverent honor and homage paid to God.

As I actually sat around and thought about what worship meant to me, the only definition that I could give worship was giving praise to God.

I realized that my purpose in the youth group was to be the worship leader. . .I was to step up and help lead the youth into the presence of God. I've had to overcome many obstacles through this, but God managed to make everything work out to His divine liking.

I know sometimes the way I handle situations may not be right, but I continue trying to rectify any wrongdoing I may have caused. I don't want to be the obstacle blocking any teen from Christ's love. I have no reason to pass judgment on them either for anything they may have done wrong. I want to help them gain a love for Jesus.

Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother's way. Romans 14:13

What can I say about last nite except AMAZING!

Fusion was so awesome last night. Even with all of the trials we faced in putting together worship, the service turned out better than ever. Brad, I can't thank you enough for calling in Mikey and Matt. Worship was so amazing last night and I can't tell you how much I felt God there. I managed to be able to invite two people to come with me and they showed up to support us which was definitely amazing! Hannah, thanks so much for sticking beside me through my time as the youth worship leader. I think we're finally going to go into our second phase and gain some musicians. I'm praying about it right now to see where we're headed. I know that God's going to come through for us because He always does. Bekah, thanks for taking control of handing out t-shirts. I really appreciate you being able to do that. Mrs. Angel, the shirts were AWESOME! Thanks so much! Beck, your sermon was awesome. It touched me alot. Pastor Joel, thanks for all the support you gave to us. We really needed it to keep everything running smoothly. Mikey and Matt, thanks again for filling in for us! Most of all to God whose presence made all the difference in the world! Without Him, Fusion would have been a disaster! God, we love you!

Why question God's authority? Why do we? I think we do this to test ourselves. There would be times in prayer that I would question God and He would place His hands on my shoulders and tell me to just trust Him.

It's a humbling experience.

CHOCOLATE IS THE BEST! Such an understatement! Even though it is the best thing to eat, God's love and grace is the best thing imaginable. There is nothing to describe how amazing His love is.

Church is about to start and I'm not doing much there tonite. I'm kinda sittin on the sideline as a normal leader but I'm still really excited about tonite.

I want a candy bar now, but we don't have any around here! NOOOOOOOO!
